Mac App

For the Pages a Browser Extension Cannot Capture

Chrome, Edge, and Firefox restrict what an extension is allowed to read and render, so some pages never capture cleanly no matter which add-on you use. PageSaver PDF for Mac exists for exactly those pages: open one, sign in if it asks, and export a PDF whose text is real, searchable, and selectable.

Why a separate app

Inside the browser

An extension runs in a sandbox the browser controls. Chrome, Edge, and Firefox decide which pages it may read, which frames it may touch, and when it is blocked outright — so a handful of pages will never capture cleanly, whichever add-on you install.

On its own

The Mac app is the browser. Nothing sits above it deciding what it may render, so the page you are looking at is the page it prints — including pages you had to sign in to reach.

What you get

No extension sandbox

Captures what extensions cannot: no add-on sandbox, no blocked frames, no restricted pages

Text, not pixels

Searchable, selectable PDFs — find with ⌘F, select and copy any passage, keep working links

Works behind a login

Handles pages behind a login: invoices, receipts, dashboards, and order confirmations

Set once, then one click

Reader mode and ad removal built in; set your export options once, then save in one click

Watch it work

A short walkthrough: open a page in the app, sign in if it asks, and export a PDF whose text stays searchable.

Purpose-built tool

What it is not

This is a customized single-purpose browser, not a full-featured one — there are no tabs, bookmarks, extensions, or sync, and it is not meant to replace Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Keep browsing where you already do, and reach for this when a page refuses to capture anywhere else. You can browse in it, but that is not what it is for.
