An Interesting EV Safety Technology

Recently, Chery EV's collision research lab showcased a new technology aimed at enhancing driver and passenger safety. The new system demonstrates a self-aligning feature of their PTZ EV chassis. In the event of an accident where the vehicle fall rollover, the EV's emergency control system, guided by an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) and attitude gyros, can autonomously control all four wheels individually to realign the car to an upright position. This allows passengers to easily exit the vehicle or enables rescuers to assist more efficiently.

I don't have much knowledge about the EV, but I have one concern while this innovation has the potential to improve safety: Could this technology inadvertently cause secondary injuries to passengers when doing the self-aligning, especially in complex, multi-impact collision scenarios?

What are your thoughts on this? Do you see more benefits or potential risks in this technology?
