There are five projects being initiated this year in Guangdong Province to help the young graduates to find jobs or become entrepreneurs, such as providing more internship opportunities to university graduates and setting up total 200 million amount loans to help starting their own business. Among all the announced plans, the “Youth E-Business Elite Plan” attracts the most attention. This plan relies on Taobao University of Guangdong Youth College to train various e-commerce talents, aiming at build up an e-commerce "Whampoa Military Academy."
Postal Savings Bank of China Guangdong Branch announced that 200 million RMB loan are specially set up to help resolve the finance difficulty of start-up companies. The youth entrepreneurship loan can be guaranteed by the government, and dismissed the 9% annual interest, which will be paid by government. The entrepreneurial small loan can be up to 60,000 RMB, with an easier application process and lower pre-request conditions.
“Last year, we started from Foshan, Zhongshan, and Guangzhou and loaned over 140 million RMB. And this year we will further expand the coverage area”, said Tan Hong.
