In Marissa Mayer's plan reviving Yahoo, the focus on products is well known. It is generally expected that the reviving plan will start from Flickr. Mayer recently appeared in the Flickr team, and talked to Flickr designers. It means that Mayer now starts the formal implementation of her product strategy.

After communicating with the entire team, Mayer talked to Flickr designer separately, but details are unknown. As shown below::

Mayer once again brings Yahoo the third Googler: Andrew Schulte. He served as product marketing manager in Google before joining Yahoo. He will be the chief of staff of Mayer. The message has not been officially confirmed, but Schulte published the message in his Twiiter account and updated his LinkedIn profile. Andrew Schulte joined Google in 2007, he is responsible for the sales and brand integration of Google+.

Someone comes then some may leave, Yahoo's senior sales executive Wayne Powers left Yahoo. According to AllThingsD, a lot of people in Yahoo will leave before the end of the year, Wayne Powers was responsible for Yahoo's media business after he was brought from Time by former Yahoo temporary CEO Ross Levinsohn.

The series of actions since Mayer served as Yahoo CEO do bring Yahoo vitality. But whether Google's philosophy and mode of work can work in Yahoo or not is not known yet.
